New Virtual Gallery of Amazonian Artist Brus Rubio Churay

Following a rich collaborative process, today we launched the new website of Brus Rubio Churay, one of the foremost Peruvian Amazonian artists. The website houses a virtual gallery of Brus’ impressive pictorial work created during the last ten years. The paintings are inspired in Brus’ Huitoto and Bora cultural heritage, its collective memory and mythology, as well as in the author’s intercultural experience in Lima, Paris, Washington, La Habana, and other places that Brus has “Amazonized” by means of his brush and his exquisite mythopoetic vision. www.brusrubio.com
