We are a nonprofit professional association dedicated to researching visual, material, and sonic cultures, teaching and training in visual anthropology, and to producing and distributing innovative audiovisual projects that contribute to intercultural knowledge and dialogue within and outside of Peru.
We develop ethnographic, documentary, and experimental media projects that offer revealing, intimate, and innovative portrayals of persons, cultures and societies. Combining art and science, we aim to capture the poetics of the real, the uniqueness of culture, and the breath of the human condition in search of furthering intercultural understanding and social justice.
We collaborate with individuals and organizations to develop research, educational, and social advancement projects. Emphasizing learning, creative, and innovative experiences, we contribute to improving the quality and impact of cultural projects and initiatives.
